A vertically oriented etching in black ink depicts a wooded, rocky hillside. On the right, two large tree trunks with dense, hatched foliage rise to the top of the frame. To the left, a smaller bush sits before a steep, craggy slope. Fine, overlapping lines and cross-hatching create deep shadows and rugged textures throughout. A signature appears in the lower right corner, outside the plate mark.
