In the lower left, two figures carrying heavy bundles of wood traverse a dark, densely hatched ridge. Beyond them, a wide valley stretches toward a distant cluster of buildings with a sharp church steeple. To the right, a river winds past tiny figures. The initials AL appear in the bottom left corner.
