A circular bronze medal depicts a central shield inscribed "CLEVELAND" flanked by two kneeling figures. On our left, a man holds a vertical staff; on our right, a woman holds a small sprig. Arched text above reads "FIFTH CITY." Several lines of text at the bottom identify the "125TH ANNIVERSARY COMMISSION" and "W S FITZGERALD MAYOR." A geometric arch frames the figures, which are raised against a dark, textured background.
