A circular brown bronze medal depicts a forward-facing bust of Marshal Foch from the shoulders up. He wears an embroidered flat-topped cap and high-collared military tunic. A thick mustache sits above his set mouth. Capitalized text around the border reads, "COMMEMORATING THE VISIT OF MARSHAL FOCH TO THE UNITED STATES." To the left of the bust is "MCMXXI," and to the right are the letters "ANS" above an oak leaf.
