A vertically oriented etching in black ink with dense cross-hatching depicts a park with mature, gnarled trees. Thick trunks cast long, dark shadows across the lawn. Through an intricate web of fine, dark lines, a large building with many windows and chimneys sits behind a low hedge in the background. Handwritten text and a date are inscribed along the bottom margin. Sharp contrasts between dark foliage and the pale sky define the composition.
