A vertically oriented etching in black ink depicts a weathered gothic cathedral entrance. Fine lines and dense, overlapping strokes define a pointed arch housing carved figures. At the top, two gargoyles cast long, diagonal shadows down the stone facade. Below, heavy wooden doors are framed by pillars, with the right door slightly ajar. Frenetic, layered dashes and cross-hatching create deep shadows against the cream paper. A signature marks the lower edge.
