A vertically oriented etching in black ink on cream paper depicts a woman with light skin tone from the neck up, in profile and facing our left. Minimalist, fluid lines define her features, including a prominent nose and rounded chin. Her hair is piled high in a large mass, with wavy strands trailing down her neck. Sparse, thin lines suggest her eye and ear against the plain, vacant background.
