A horizontally oriented etching looks across a river toward an industrial shoreline. Three tall smokestacks and industrial buildings rise on the left, while a low-arched bridge spans the water on the right. In the middle ground, a larger vessel carries dark cargo. Faint, sketchy lines define the hazy sky and water reflections. In the foreground, ghost-like figures are faintly outlined in a boat against the pale, textured paper.
