A vertically oriented drypoint print depicts a waterfront scene in sketchy black lines. At the bottom, two rounded boat tops with small figures float toward us. A prominent mast rises from the lower left toward the top center across an expanse of water. In the background, a quay features figures, a horse-drawn cart, and two spindly, leafless trees. Tall, rectangular buildings line the upper left. Fine, gestural lines define the entire urban landscape.
