A vertically oriented bronze plaque with a curved top features a central oval relief containing a man's profile facing our right. He has a high forehead and thinning hair. Below the oval, rows of horizontal capital letters identify him as Marion H. Spielmann, author and art critic, at age sixty-four. Small vertical text within the frame names the artist. The sculpture has a mottled, dark brown patina and sits against a neutral grey background.
