A horizontally oriented etching in dark, muted tones depicts a river landscape under a stormy, hatched sky. On the left, a broken stone bridge rises from the water, connected by a wooden walkway to a dark central building. Two small figures stand on the path. In the hazy distance, cathedral spires rise above a line of trees. Dense cross-hatching creates heavy shadows throughout. A signature appears along the bottom edge.
