Description
The block which will print the outline has now been completely cut. Ink is rolled across the surface and a sheet of paper is placed on top. Pressure is applied to the back of the sheet of paper—or the block can be put in a press—so that the ink transfers to the paper.- Against the Grain: Woodcuts from the Collection.
