A black ink lithograph on tan paper depicts a symmetrical view up wide stairs with railings. Two massive, dark trees with dense, textured shading frame the composition. At the top, large urns rest on pedestals flanking a central statue with outstretched arms. In the distance, a domed building is back-lit by thin, radiating lines. Repeated, layered strokes and heavy dark areas define the forms, creating a sense of depth and architectural scale.
