A vertically oriented drawing in brush and brown ink with streaking washes depicts a woman with light skin tone facing our right. Bold, dark strokes define her wavy hair and loose dress as she holds several bread loaves against her chest and waist. Broad vertical strokes frame her figure, while darker ink highlights garment folds and hair. The name "steinlen" is written in the bottom right, with textured vertical strokes shading the background.
