A horizontally oriented etching in dark ink on off-white paper depicts a dense city skyline rising over choppy water. In the foreground, short, vigorous strokes suggest restless waves. Low-lying buildings and small boats huddle at the shore. Beyond, blocky skyscrapers are built from dense cross-hatches, casting deep shadows on the right. Rapid diagonal lines streak across the sky. A signature and date, "Pach 1920," mark the bottom left.
