Description

Arthur Davies often traveled to Europe and played a major role in organizing the Armory Show, an important exhibition in New York that introduced Americans to modern European art. The subject of this drawing, executed in 1928, is the park at Saint-Cloud, site of a former summer residence of the French monarchs.
