A vertically oriented print in black ink depicts a poppy plant on cream paper. A thin, bristled stem rises toward large, jagged leaves rendered in solid black with fine white veins. At the top, a stem curves to hold a drooping flower bud, with a smaller bud to the left. Broad, expressive shapes and delicate line work create the botanical study, accented by a small symbol beside the stem.
