A ceramic sculpture depicts a thin dog in profile facing our left, its dark charcoal surface polished to a glossy sheen. Crouched low on a rectangular base, its back arches sharply as the head tucks toward the ground. Prominent ridges from the spine and ribs press against the skin, catching the light. Slender legs and drooping ears define its form, while a small, worn beige speck marks its head.
