A circular gold-toned medal features high-relief figures. On the left, a crowned skeleton in a cloak rides a winged horse beneath the word "LONE." On the right, a muscular bearded man raises his arms, separated from the skeleton by a jagged lightning bolt. At the bottom, a small figure rests. Darker patina accumulates in the recessed textures of the metallic surface.
