Description

The design consists of a broad five partite decorative band with geometric ornamentation in red, red and green, and yellow and dark blue, and a single line of Arabic text embroidered in red on the plain ecru linen cloth. This inscription, extremely damaged and fragmentary, has been deciphered only in part.
