A circular bronze medal depicts a nude winged child walking right, holding a laurel wreath in each hand beside the word "GLORIA." On the right, a vertically oriented cicada splits the word "FAMA" within a beaded border. At the lower right, a small monogram sits above the date "1933." The raised figures and lettering stand out in relief against the smooth, dark bronze of both circular faces.
