A vertically oriented brown ink drawing on tan paper depicts a barefoot man leaning against a doorframe on our left. He wears a feathered hat and jacket with hands tucked behind his back. To our right, stylized text announces a private view of portraits by Herman G. Herkomer at Kaemmer & Kushmans in January 1883. Fine hatching and stippling create shadows across the figure and a leaded glass window above him.
