A horizontally oriented print in black ink depicts an immense, ornate cathedral with hundreds of spires. Viewed from a corner, the building's complex architecture is rendered with dense, fine hatching and deep shadows. Tiny figures and horse-drawn carriages occupy the expansive plaza in the foreground. Lower buildings frame the scene at the sides. A small, faint sketch of a head marks the lower left margin.
