A vertically oriented color woodblock print depicts three figures with light skin tones in patterned robes. At our right, a woman with elaborate hair ornaments looks toward a wooden bookstand. In the center, a youth in a brown garment sits on a low platform, supporting a child in pink robes who raises a white chrysanthemum flower. Vertical Japanese calligraphy accents the upper right on the aged, textured paper.
