A vertically oriented woodblock print on tan paper depicts a woman with pale skin from the chest up, head turned left. Her voluminous black hair is pierced by numerous long, pale pins. She wears a layered tan and green patterned robe over pink, holding a long, thin pipe. Overlapping papers appear in the upper left. A limited palette of tan and muted colors shades the background, marked by black characters and seals.
