A horizontally oriented lithograph in black ink depicts a man walking away on our right, carrying a bucket and sack. Two harnessed mules stand centrally under a gnarled tree beside a plow. To our left, a barn tops a distant hill. Rhythmic, swirling lines and deep shadows sculpt the rolling ground and dense foliage. Thick, dark clouds churn above white, billowing formations in the sky.
