A vertically oriented print in black ink on cream paper overlooks a harbor. Frenetic strokes suggest a dense grid of buildings and tiny, scribbled figures in the streets below. A tall, ornate skyscraper with twin peaked roofs dominates the center. Beyond, gestural lines form steamships on the wide river, while dark plumes of smoke rise from industrial chimneys along the distant horizon. A signature marks the bottom center.
