A monochrome lithograph depicts an elderly man from the chest up. His face, deeply furrowed and shadowed, emerges from dense, dark lines. A voluminous white beard and wild hair contrast with the heavy, dark-inked strokes of his coat. He gazes right, his high forehead prominent against the light, textured background. Strong cross-hatching adds weight to his weary expression. A signature appears in the bottom right corner of this tonal print.
