A circular bronze medal depicts two scenes. One features a woman's face gazing at a curly-haired infant cradled in a large hand, framed by the words "PRO PATRIA." On the other, a muscular nude male is shackled to rocks by his wrists and ankles. An eagle with textured feathers stands beside him, beak near his side. "PRO HVMANITATE" borders the scene, with a small signature inscribed at the base.
