A circular, polished bronze medal features a relief of a woman and child. The woman's stylized face, with heavy-lidded eyes and long waves of hair, dominates the center. Below, an infant with tight curls is cradled by a large, oversized hand. Raised capital letters curve around the border, spelling "PRO" on our left and "PATRIA" on our right. Darker tones settle into the recessed details, highlighting the sculpture's smooth contours.
