A circular bronze medal is cast with a relief of a muscular man kneeling on a rocky base, facing our right with one arm raised. Chains bind his wrists and ankles as an eagle with large wings stands over him. The word PRO is centered above, while HVMANI is stacked vertically on our left and TATE sits above crossed torches on our right. Joseph E. Renier. Sc. is inscribed along the bottom curve.
