A bronze medal depicts a nude muscular man kneeling on a curved mound. Facing our right, he holds a small airplane aloft with both hands. To the left, a stylized sun with sharp rays rises over a horizon. On the right, the numbers 19 and 41 flank a circled BP monogram. The smooth, golden-brown patina highlights the figure's athletic definition and the work's circular composition.
