A sculpture depicts a buffalo carved from muted brown stone with an extremely rough, pitted texture throughout. In profile facing our left, the animal bows its head, featuring a large hump and short, thick legs. A single short horn projects from the side of the head. The figure appears solid, with its lower section still integrated into the original rectangular block of stone that forms the base.
