A bronze medal, finished with a warm brown patina, displays relief carvings on both sides. One face depicts a figure curled beneath a large leaf above the text "THOU SLUGGARD." The other features three ants among blades of grass, encircled by "GO TO THE ANT CONSIDER HER WAYS AND BE WISE" and a small flower. Soft highlights emphasize the figure's rounded form, the insects' segmented bodies, and the radiating flora.
