A horizontally oriented intricate etching in black ink depicts two men with light skin tones, Charles V and Ferdinand I, facing each other beneath a decorative arch. Charles, on our left in profile with a short beard, wears a feathered hat and fur-lined cloak. Ferdinand, on our right, wears a broad hat. Both wear heavy metal collar chains and rest their hands on cushions. Winged child figures and a shield decorate the top.
