A square muted-green and off-white silk velvet fragment features a repeating diamond lattice. Each diamond contains a small, stylized three-petaled flower. The raised green pile stands out against the flat background. The textile has a diagonal edge on the right and significant chunks of pile missing, specifically in irregular patches near the center and right. Frayed edges outline the piece, revealing the underlying woven fabric where the velvet has worn away.
