A jade bowl takes a flared shape like an upside-down trapezoid rising from a small circular foot. Its translucent, pale green body is punctuated by dark specks and white mottling. A thin, horizontal vein encircles the center of the steeply angled sides. Light catches along the polished rim, highlighting the vessel's broad opening. Cloudy inclusions throughout the stone give the bowl an organic texture against its smooth, polished surface.
