Two sides of a circular bronze medal feature inscriptions circling images in raised relief. On the left, a family harvests wheat; a kneeling man and standing woman are joined by two children beneath the words PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. On the right, three bare-chested men move a large bale near a ship, bordered by the phrase GOOD WILL TOWARD MEN. Both sides exhibit a muted gold patina.
