Seated Couple: Mentuemhat's Ancestors

Location: 107 Egyptian
Description
A deceased vizier, whose name ended in Nufer, and his wife seated before a table of offerings. Presumably they were relatives of Mentuemhat. The work is in the style of early Dynasty XVIII.- Thebes, Asasif, tomb of Mentuemhat (no. 34), first court, south side of west wall under portico. Purchased from Mrs. Paul Mallon, Paris (Mallon 183).
