A horizontally oriented etching in black ink on cream paper depicts a river scene. At the bottom left, a man and smaller figure stand on a dark bank with their backs to us. The water reflects dark silhouettes of buildings and a tall spire. Densely hatched lines sweep across the sky above dark hills and a three-arched bridge. Inscriptions and a circular seal mark the bottom right margin.
