A circular bronze medal depicts a woman in profile looking upward, her head draped in a smooth cloth. In the center, a naked child with curly hair holds their arms up, palms facing forward. A large hand supports the child's torso from our left, while another rests near the woman's chin. This shallow relief sculpture has a warm brown patina with fine, polished highlights.
