Description
The stunning pattern of palmettes within diamond-shaped compartments is still visible in this rare four-color silk, despite its fragile state. Small human faces within circles appear at the points of the diamonds.- reportedly acquired in Egypt; (Mme. Paul Mallon, Paris).
