Description

This small figure is made of the slightly yellowish porcelain developed by Böttger and used by the Meissen factory during the first decade of its existence. It is one of a series of small figures adapted from engravings in the style of Callot and is thought to have been modeled by Georg Fritzche, who had been employed at Meissen since 1712.
