Artist's inscription, signature, and seal: 北苑 Beiyuan's [Dong Yuan 董源 (c. 934–c. 962)] paintings of ridges and peaks are massive and rich. No one but the Elder Mi [Fu 米黻] was capable of painting them. [seal] Shibiao. [signed] Erzhan 二瞻.
