A rounded stoneware jar displays a mottled olive-brown glaze that thins near the base to reveal pinkish-buff clay. Two small loop handles sit at the shoulder below a short, wide neck. Numerous horizontal bands of incised V-shaped marks texture the body, creating a rhythmic, woven appearance. Dark brown lines encircle the top and bottom of this patterned midsection, accentuating the vessel's sturdy, wide form.
