A rectangular, dark brown wood box features a tiered lid with sloped sides and a flat top panel. Intricate relief carvings of scrolling vines and flowers cover the entire surface. A horizontal row of small, circular rosettes decorates the lid's vertical edge, centered by a tiny metal stud. The box rests on a flared base, finished with a rhythmic pattern of small, curved scallops along the bottom edge.
