A vertically oriented black ink woodcut on tan paper depicts a figure in profile facing our right. They wear a pointed wide-brimmed hat, shirt with puffed sleeves, dark shorts, and knee-high boots with a knife at their belt. The jagged landscape features triangular mountains above vertical, fence-like posts. High-contrast black areas and heavy, angular lines create a sharp, textured scene. Patterns of parallel lines and bold strokes define the figure and background.
