Description
Painted in a continuous scene around the cylindrical body is an episode from a folktale about Sima Guang (1019-86), a renowned Northern Song statesman and scholar who exercised quick thinking in his childhood when he broke a ceramic vat filled with water to rescue a drowning playmate- John L.
