Description

The nomadic gold- and silversmiths of Marlik and Amlash were the first masters of precious metalwork in Iran. Their successors were the bronzeworkers of Luristan and the silversmiths of the Achaemenian and Sasanian Empires, whose masterpieces are shown elsewhere in this gallery.
