A vertically oriented abstract painting features a large, creamy white circular form centered against a dense black background. Thick, heavy black swathes cut across the center in a bold horizontal band and an expressive loop. A broad white arc sweeps across the upper right with ragged, layered edges. Visible brushwork defines the textured shapes. In the bottom right corner, a name and date are handwritten against the dark ground.
